Hello on the 22nd september 2012 I set off on my holiday. I was flying to Gatwick and then flying off to Turkey. On the journey to gatwick we had to make a sudden landing in Bordaux France. They had found a mobile phone hidden in the loo. Now I was due to land in gatwick at around 11.30am, where I was meeting my daughter and her two friends. And we were taking off at 3.00pm. I was so stressed out and worried about not getting to meet my daughter in time. We were stranded in bordaux for hours. We eventually took off and headed to gatwick, we arrived at 3.40pm. So I missed my flight. Easyjet couldn't put me on another flight till Monday afternoon, I arrived at Dalaman at 9.00pm that night. I had lost two days of my holiday, on the Saturday I had to find somewhere to stay for the weekend, you can imagine the state I was in. I rang a friend in Ashford kent who put me up. I got a taxi to her home and back to the airport on the Monday for my flight to Turkey. I was very stressed out indeed. Where do I stand on claims for this situation please.
