JS offers most of the insurance policies that you could ask for, including Single Trip, Annual, Longstay, Winter Sports and Over 65’s. You simply choose which one you want and then click on it to take you to the quote page.

Getting a quote is easy. You just fill in the basic details, and then state whether you want to include Winter Sports, Personal Baggage and Cancellation / Curtailment covers, all of which will affect the premium. You also have to state whether you have any pre-existing medical conditions, although I think this is pretty standard on most policies.

You are then taken to a page where you are presented with a whole list of different policies from different underwriters, ordered by price and with the excess also clearly visible.

You can either click on the cover details to see a more in-depth summary of what is included in each one or, in a unique feature, you can choose to order the different policies based on a particular type of event cover, such as Medical Expenses. This provides you with the option of quickly and easily finding out which policy is best for you in a particular area, and helps you to make an informed decision.

All in all, JS provides a great service, with no frills but no hassle either. You just enter your details and you’re done. It is a very flexible service, and one that I would recommend.
