Very disappointed with Insuremore. Clicked worldwide annual policy then tried to make a claim and found it does not cover Gambia. Very misleading. Check before you book.

Insure More comes across as a bit crowded and confusing on its home page, which can put you off initially. However, the service is overall good, if not quite as comprehensive as other providers.

Strangely, although Insure More has a lot of insurance policies available, including Business, Golf, Winter Sports, Sports and Cruise options, as well as free Acts of Terrorism cover, it does not include a Gap Year or Backpacker option, which is one of the main ones on nearly all of the other companies.

The quote is very quick and easy to obtain, and is done through the homepage. When the most basic of details are entered, you are provided with the options of either Standard or Deluxe cover levels. These do not differ considerably, and below them are displayed the levels of cover on offer with each, which is a useful feature.

You can then add on any extras from the list available, including an excess waiver or excluding personal possessions, and the premium is altered as a result, so there is a fair amount of personalisation.

On the down side, there is only a very small FAQ section which does not answer many queries, and in general the service does not seem as comprehensive as those on offer from other companies.
