Do not buy insurance from this company. If they can get out of a policy, they will use every means (including the fine print) where possible. My 5 year old son broke his arm and they denied cover, stating that the insurance cover commenced the day after we traveled. Our side is, a) we bought this cover the morning before we left (same day, but before our departure from London), b) when we went on the website, nowhere did it either state that you must purchase the cover the day before you go away or ask what is your day of travel?, c) all it asked was When would you like the policy to start? Though we tried to elect our day of travel, it would not permit this. We didn't know why, and we took out a 62 day policy, so we accepted we would not be covered the first day of travel. Only on the policy is there some wording under a paragraph marked Cancellation which has some wording about the travel and policy cover, which is buried and ambiguous. Any, I have already contacted the FSA, but beware of this company.

Is it easy to get insurance with this company? Yes. Are you covered for the recent travel delay from the volcanic ash situation? No you are not.

I took out platinum insurance with this company for a weeks trip to Europe and my return was delayed by a week. I contacted the company and was told am not covered as the policy states that you are only covered for flight delay provided you check in at the airport. Ridiculous... how are you supposed to check in for a flight that is non-existent? This company and its directors are clearly ripping off customers and with such poor service and overly restrictive small print. I suspect (and hope) you will not hear about insurewithease in 12 months time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS YOU ARE NOT GETTING THE LEVEL OF COVER YOU THINK YOU ARE GETTING. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

We bought an annual worldwide family policy from mainly because they were the cheapest result from a comparison website. We have been fortunate in the past that we've never needed to claim our travel insurance policies therefore the amount of cover is not really something we take too much notice of. The level of cover on the bronze package we purchased was more than adequate. On our recent trip to the Dominican Republic we were delayed nearly 24 hours leaving Manchester because of the bad snow. Whilst in resort my partner slipped down some stairs injuring his back. He ended up in hospital for the day and we had a treatment bill of 1200 USD. On our return to the UK I printed off the claim forms - 1 for the delay and 1 for the hospital treatment and completed them before sending with the necessary documentation. I sent the paperwork recorded delivery on the Wednesday evening. On Saturday morning I received a letter from insurewithease stating that the claims had been settled and that the money had been paid by BACS into my bank account and should arrive within 5 days. By Monday morning the funds were available in my account. I was totally astounded! Overall I cannot fault this company at all. I would say to anyone please don't let the cheap price put you off. We were certainly not disappointed and if they are as cheap again next year we will certainly take out another policy with
