Excellent service, recived docs via email within 2 minutes of issuing the policy over the phone with a very helpful cheery advisor, Also recived a hard copy by post within 2 days

Policy documents took 3 weeks to arrive, when i read the small print we were not covered for our holiday, we were home by the time we received the paperwork, lucky we did not need to claim.
I would use Atlas Direct as they are much better.

We took out a single trip policy, when we tried to make a claim it took hours to get through, called the company who sold the policy, they were rude and incompetent!

Extrasure is one of the more established insurance providers, which gives you confidence from the start. On the home page it offers Single trip, Annual Multi-Trip, Backpacker and Car Rental insurance options, the last of which is not often seen but provides a useful service for anyone who is renting a car on holiday.
After clicking on each type, a good summary is provided, and the quote is very easy to acquire. All you have to enter is the area you are going to, the number of days of your trip and who is going, and the quote is produced.
You are then provided with both Essential and Optimum cover levels, and full details of each are displayed below the quotes. This is a very useful feature, and the excess is also displayed, which many other insurance companies do not bother to do.
There is also a certain amount of customisation available, and you can choose winter sports, golf, business, and wedding covers as additions, with the premium changing accordingly.
Travellers up to 79 years old can be insured, which is much more than a lot of providers offer, and full downloadable details of the hazardous sports covered are provided, so that you know exactly what you are covered for. All in all Extrasure provides a very good service, combining value with an informative approach.
